2026 Wedding Trends We’re Loving

2026 Wedding Trends We’re Loving

Every year brings a new wave of wedding inspiration, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of our favorite years yet. At Stacy K Floral, we have been deep in wedding consultations, and certain themes, styles, and requests keep rising to the top. Here is what we are seeing, loving, and designing this wedding season.

Ceremony

The ceremony sets the emotional tone for the entire day, and couples in 2026 are investing in florals that feel immersive, personal, and full of organic beauty. Here is what we are designing most.

Cascading and organic bridal bouquets: Loose, flowing, and full of movement. Think trailing elements, unexpected textures, and a silhouette that feels gathered rather than arranged.

Grounded aisle arrangements: Low, lush floral designs that line the ceremony space and create an immersive experience from entrance to altar.

Single stem bridesmaids flowers: Clean, elegant, and effortlessly chic. One beautiful bloom says everything.

Altar and Backdrop

The altar is the focal point of the ceremony, and in 2026 couples are making it count. We are seeing a strong move toward backdrops and installations that feel dramatic, layered, and genuinely show-stopping.

Soft fabric draping: A full textile backdrop or a single piece of fabric wrapping an arch, accented with florals for a romantic, ethereal effect.

Grounded floral installations: A lush half-circle of blooms at the base of the altar that frames the couple beautifully without overwhelming the space.

Asymmetrical pedestal designs: Two arrangements elevated on pedestals, two on the ground, creating a staggered, editorial composition that feels dynamic and intentional.

Color Palettes

Color sets the mood before a single guest takes their seat. This year we are seeing a beautiful range of palettes, from moody and romantic to soft and dreamy, with a few bold statements thrown in for good measure.

Burgundy and green: Rich, romantic, and deeply sophisticated. A timeless combination that works beautifully across every season.

White with touches of green or black: A modern, editorial palette with an unexpected edge. Clean, intentional, and striking.

Pastels and soft pinks: Blush, peach, lavender, and pale coral layered together for a dreamy, painterly effect.

Honorable mentions: Shades of blue and bright bold palettes for couples who want their florals to make a genuinely unexpected statement.

Flowers Clients Are Loving

Certain blooms are defining the look of this wedding season. We are also seeing a growing number of couples choosing what is in season, which we always encourage. Seasonal flowers are fresher, more sustainable, and often more beautiful for it.

Calla Lilies: Sculptural, modern, and elegant. Back in a big way this season.

Orchids: Versatile, long-lasting, and endlessly beautiful in both bouquets and arrangements.

Hydrangea: A staple for its lush, full texture and its ability to anchor any color palette.

Honorable mentions: Roses, anthurium, amaranthus, and dahlias, all showing up in the most beautiful ways this season.

Reception

The reception is where couples are really having fun with florals in 2026. From statement tablescapes to intimate bud vase moments, the goal is a space that feels layered, alive, and full of warmth from every angle.

Mixed height centerpieces: Varying heights create visual movement and energy across the room that feels dynamic and alive.

Floral accents on bar tops and seating charts: A detail guests notice and remember long after the night ends.

Petite bud vases: Scattered throughout cocktail hour or along long rectangle tables for a relaxed, garden-party feel.

Candles everywhere: Votives, candlesticks, pillars. The more the better. Flickering candlelight makes every reception feel magical.

Personal Touches

The details that move people most are always the personal ones. This year more than ever, couples are weaving meaningful moments and memories into their floral design in ways that feel deeply intentional and genuinely moving.

Incorporating a family member's favorite flower: One of the most meaningful ways to honor someone who cannot be there in person.

Repurposing ceremony flowers for the reception: Sustainable, smart, and gives those arrangements a beautiful second life.

Bouquet charms and keepsakes: Adding photos of loved ones, meaningful charms, or significant ribbon to the bridal bouquet for a deeply personal touch.

Custom rehearsal dinner florals: Extending the floral experience beyond the wedding day itself, because the celebration deserves to start early.
