Sometimes we get really fun couples that are just excited to play with the design of their special day. These two were unique and quirky and open to whatever we brought to the table as long as it was a little different but still had an elegant feel. Ceremony and reception both at Colgate Divinity of Rochester created a beautiful backdrop of wood finishes and regal atmosphere. The patio has some of the most amazing views in the city of Rochester. We embellished all of that with golds, corals, plums and camel tones. The bouquet was our favorite part with a modern cascade with strung orchids and gold chain details dripping from it adorned with mamy blue roses, camel roses, date palms, coral orchids, purple vanda orchids, gold fern curls and much more. It told a story all on it's own. All the floral was a cross of gold glam with touches of nature, the gold grapewood branches in the altar piece added in interesting architectural detail with a glitter band around the vase. The centerpieces had gold floating candles in some with floating blossoms and colored water....so simple but really made a statement with color. The place card table with hanging chain and strung orchids created a different texture combining the metal with the blooms. Enough descriptive see for yourself in the images below. Thank you so much Kracke Photography for sharing these wonderful photo exerts of this wonderful day.
