So grateful to finally have the chance to take a peak at the recent feature in the Rochester Magazine wedding edition. This city has so many amazingly talented artists and I am honored to be in print beside them. The wedding in this article was a delicious fall wedding with a color pallet of burgundy and mustard and the coziest tent setting at the Inns of Aurora.
I need to work on my interviewing skills and completely missed giving all the credit where credit was due in this interview. Though the Stacy K team worked on creating the design of this event with these truly wonderful clients, the team of vendors is what made it all happen. The vendors included Scratch Bake Shop who made the amazing cake pops, Hank Parker Rentals created the custom light fixtures and provided all the rentals, and the Inns of Aurora's, Heather Davidson created a magically flawless evening. The photography was all captured by Clark Walker Studios. It's always such an honor to work so closely with the family and bring to life the vision that is in their head. Even though it was a rainy cold day, it was so warm and cozy inside.
The second wedding in this feature is a show stopping event we consider ourselves lucky enough to work on. The true rockstar that gets all the credit for this creation was Kate from Lovewell Celebration Designs. This woman is a design genius, she takes her love and knowledge of the set design and acting world and implements it into events that hit on all the senses. Our portion of the design was the floral and greens, creating natural scenes that made the ballroom look as though it was transformed into a magical overgrown ballroom. The vendor team included so many, but the locals were again, the Hank Parker Rental team and Petunia Rose China. We hope to share much more of this wedding at a later date and are just going to leave you with these minor details for now but know there is more to come!
