CITYFLOWER flavor - The cityflower honey captures the essence of all the pollen and nectar that gives the Flower City its namesake. This honey varies in flavor year to year, entirely dependent on what is blooming locally each season. This is our favorite honey to add to a cup of tea, drizzle on toast, or even add to a savory dish.
This harvest is bright and fragrant with notes of wild florals, particularly a bit of herb and spice from the abundance of oregano flowering nearby.
SPRING flavor - Spring is the busiest time of year for our downtown beehives while the bees make many trips to collect nectar and pollen from the abundance of flowering trees and bushes around the city!
This year's spring honey is very light, floral and even minty, captured from lilacs, cherry blossoms, and an abundance of mint close to the hives. These flowers impart a unique flavor that goes well on toast, in a cup of green tea, and makes a fantastic local allergy remedy.
